Mohit Bhasin, MD attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta (1998). He completed an Internal Medicine Residency (2002) and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship (2006) at Emory University School of Medicine as well, where he served as the Chief Cardiovascular Fellow for 2005-2006. He is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and in Cardiovascular Diseases.

Dr. Bhasin has extensive training in advanced cardiac imaging, including the highest level of training in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and Multidetector Cardiac CT, as well as Nuclear Cardiology and Transesophageal echocardiography. He has published in national peer-reviewed journals and presented research at several national scientific meetings. His teaching endeavors in the field of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance and Cardiac CT were recognized in “Today in Cardiology” in November, 2005.

Dr. Bhasin will be arriving to our practice in August 2006. He will be accepting new patients and will be available for patient consultations and diagnostic testing at our Chesapeake and Virginia Beach offices.
