Dr. Miller is the chairman of the Cardiac medical services committee at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and has served on numerous committees at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Chesapeake General Hospital. He has served as President of the Tidewater Cardiovascular Society and has published numerous medical journals and participates in educating students and resdients at the Eastern Virginina Medical School. He enjoys fishing, golf, boating, and cycling.
