Dr. Griffin is recognized as a leader in the medical community for introducing state-of-the-art electrophysiology to this area. He is the Director of both the Interventional Cardiology Program and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. He is actively involved in medical research studies that are designed to improve the treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, PFO closure, pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. He enjoys tennis and skiing in his leisure time.
