Dr. Jones is actively involved in medical research studies that are designed to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with congestive heart failure. He also assisted in the development of a database that tracks clinical results of cardiac procedures. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine and President of the Medical Staff at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. He is active in educating students and residents at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. He enjoys photography, fishing and computers.
