Dr. Kazakis has been active in the development of the intravascular ultrasound program at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, which assists the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac abnormalities. Recognized by his peers for his expertise in echocardiography, he is active in both the state and local chapters of the American College of Cardiology. He also is active in educating students and residents at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. He enjoys photography, racquetball, gardening and spending time with his family.
